 Bearded Dragon
Spike is a cool little beardy that we got from someone who did not want to care for him any more. He loves to just hang out and be held. He is very calm and handled by all ages very easily.

Chinchilla
Ruby is a Grey Chinchilla she is about two years old. We rescued her from a home that could no longer care for her. She was kept in a one level, very boring cage with no options to jump around and get the exercise and mental stimulation she needed. Her previous owners did not have the time to give her the attention she deserved. She was very shy and skittish at first but has learned to become very friendly and cuddly. She now gets plenty of exercise in her three level cage and spends lots of free time out side of her cage playing with our bunny and guinea pig.

Coatimundi
Albert is our newest addition he is a baby. Coatimundis are very mischevious mammals that are indiginous to Central America and are in the racoon family. He is more than a handful to care for. I would certainly not reccommend this type of animal for a pet to the average person. As of right now he is "hands off" to children for our programs. I can bring him out on a leash and harness and children may observe him drinking a bottle. He is very cute and fun to observe but since he is a baby he can be a little too playful to closely interact with children.

     Ferret
Zorro is a Silver Masked Ferret he is one year old. We rescued him from a home that could no longer care for him. When we got him he was overweight from lack of exercise, his nails were very overgrown and he had never been to the vet to receive the proper vaccinations. Instead of being cooped up in a cage all day he has now slimmed down due to having free reign of the house to run and frolic. He has also received the proper care for his nails and vaccinations. He has a very loving personality and enjoys playing with our cats and children for hours on end! He is easily handled and cuddled by children of all ages!

Geckos
We have two Leopard Geckos, we rescued them from someone that could no longer care for them. They are very calm and cool. They like to just hang out on your shoulder and take great pictures. Their face's look like little crocodiles. Children enjoy holding them and like all the interesting facts about this type of Gecko!

Guinea Pig
Woody is a Golden Agouti Guinea Pig he is one year old and came to us from a foster home that had rescued him from the SPCA. He was attacked by a larger male guinea pig when his original owner had thought it would be okay to put him in a cage with. He had a large wound from his nose to his eye that needed medical attention so his owners brought him to the SPCA to take care of him and find him a new home. He is now healed and doing very well. He is a sweety and loves playing with his friends the bunny and chinchilla. We named him Woody because he looks like a wood chuck and likes to pop his head out of his little house and then disappear inside again. He also enjoys just quietly sitting on someone’s lap being loved.

Hamster
Rhino is an Angora Teddy Bear Hamster he is about one year old. We got him from a pet store out of a over crowded boring cage. He is now the king of his castle in his own cage with lots of tunnels and a wheel to run on. He loves running around the house in his ball and enjoys being held and brushed.

Hedge Hog
Peekachu has come a long way from his shyness!  He is doing great and loves to be taken out and played with! When we wake him up now it only takes him a minute to open right up and start exploring! He is kid friendly and his quills are not too sharp!

Hermit Crabs
We have two very active crabs, they love to run around and climb. It almost seems like they enjoy racing each other!

Iguana
Rocky is our baby Iguana he is still a little guy, but enjoys being held after he warms up to you. He is beautiful bright green color!

Madagascar
Hissing Cockroaches
These are an interesting insect because of their appearance, behavior, and mode of communication! They are not considered a pest like most people believe. They are generally misunderstood and do play a very important role in Africa's eco- system.

   Millipede
Thank you to the kids at Oneida Park program (Vet's Field) for helping to name our Ocala Giant Millipede "Tickels".The kids at the program loved having him crawl all over them! Many people believe they are venomous but they are not.  Also despite their name they do not have a million legs! The bigger they grow, the more legs they grow they have two on each body segment.

   Parrots
Zazu is an African Grey Parrot he is one year old and is about ready to attend our parties. We have not clipped his wings yet so we do not take him out of his travel cage while at parties. But don't hesitate to inquire about him. He has all of his adult feathers and has become quite verbal and active!

Pearl is an Umbrella Cockatoo he is about five years old. We purchased her from someone who was looking for a new home for him. He has quite the personality and loves to dance and laugh! He is still learning to talk and says "Hello" he can be quite entertaining!

 Prairie Dogs
Boots and Dora are baby Black Tailed Prairie Dogs. They are just adorable and very cuddely! They are very close with each other but we handle them lots so that they have learned to enjoy human interaction!

Rabbits
Thumper is a Dwarf Rabbit she is about two years old old. We got her from someone that was looking for homes for their litter of babies. She is a sweetheart with people and very much enjoys being pet and cuddled!
We now also have another bunny named Bugsy he is a  Lion Head and is adorable and very cuddely!

Savannah Monitor
Irwin is a baby.  We obtained him from someone that was not educated on the proper care of this type of reptile. He was not supplied with the proper nourishment or heating. He is doing very well since we are giving him the care he needs! He is small for now but he will grow very large. It has been said that he looks like a baby dinosaur and is very calm and cute!

    Snakes
Drake is a baby Red Tail Boa Constrictor. He is about one year old. We purchased him from a breeder that was looking for good homes for a clutch of babies. He is not very big yet, but he will get up to 6 foot in no time! He has a great personality and loves just hanging out on someone’s hand all day! He is very calm and curious about his surroundings.

Sydney is a six foot, three year old Coastal Carpet Python! She still has lots of growing to do! Although she is quite a bit more active than Drake she is very cool and handleable!

Scorpion
Ceasar is a Black Emperor Scorpion, We purchased him from a breeder so that he is captive bred not wild caught. While this particular species of scorpion is known for it's docile and tolerant nature, for precautionary purposes, he will not be held by the children. The safety of our animals and the children viewing them are considered our highest priority" He is very calm and cool I will bring a black light with me to show him GLOWING a bright green color.

Tarantula
Gizmo is our Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula. We do not pick her up, but children may pet her. She is very cool to observe!

Tortoise
Big Mac is a baby leopard tortoise. He has a very unique desing to his shell and is very calm and cute. He will grow to be a medium size, not the biggest but not the smallest either. He loves to eat all day long. We can bring some of his favorite foods with us to let you feed him.

 Turtle
Gary is Red Eared slider who we obtained a few years ago from someone that could no longer care for him due to his size. When you get these turtles from a pet store they may start out little but keep in mind that they will eventually grow to a much larger size!

Tree Frog
